The adventure began when…
Ryan and James met during their college years, during which the two sorcerers soon realized that they met their match in absurdity and explosions. Before long, bards far and wide would tell tales of their adventures and the drunken abominations they made together. Eventually, our soon-to-be fabled chefs parted ways, but these friends remained in touch via messenger pigeons.
Amidst the Great Siege of 2020, Ryan stumbled upon a barren kitchen; abandoned, save for a pristine cauldron. Ancient magicks echoed from the ink-black depths like a gentle whisper, Ryan was drawn under the curse of the cauldron. Entranced by the siren song of sizzling pots and pans, he set off on a journey to brew his own potions. He had always had a passion for spicy concoctions that would make others reach for a healing potion, but rarely found one whose flavor was as delectable as its insurmountable heat. Ryan began to scour the realm for herbs and spices. Guided by the cauldron, he brewed his first sauce. Knowing he could not continue on this endeavor alone, he sent a message requesting help.
Shortly after, a very thick and somehow flame-retardant pigeon arrived in James’ hut. After reading the missive, he quickly embarked to join his fellow sorcerer. While he lacked his friend’s passion for spicy concoctions, James was no stranger to the flavors that can be drawn from the fire. Using the wisdom of the ancients, he too is able to guide and twist the whispers of the bubbling cauldron into delectable concoctions of his own.
Before long, a cacophony could be heard from within the once barren kitchen. It was filled, once more, with the sounds of two mad sorcerers honing their skills and their recipes. The cursed cauldron showed them how chaos could breathe life just as easily as it could consume it. Just like the mighty flame, too much and it grows out of control, however; with just a dash it can create something new and beautiful.
Together, our sorcerers turned chefs, opened Cursed Cauldron. Traveling to the far reaches of the realm spreading their chaotic concoctions.
